Been so curious to eat here thanks to the name & Old School feel of it all. NOT impressed. Ordered onion rings, fried mushrooms, a chocolate malt & chicken sandwich. The onion rings & sandwich must have come from a frozen bag. Gross. The mushrooms were MUSHY & way over cooked in what tasted like last year's grease. The malt tastes like a normal chocolate milkshake, couldn't taste the malt at all.
I've satisfied my curiosity & have no need to return.

I only had a shake and it was terrific. The only unfortunate thing is, the other cars that would pull up and leave their motor running for air conditioning. This made the patio area hotter, although the area is shaded, and dampen my experience. I will go again for their milkshakes, but it'll be take away only. I understand people want to sit in their car and eat with the AC running, so there's probably not much you can do especially when it's called the drive-in.
